This is a quick and easy pasta dough recipe.
I bought a pasta machine before lockdown, because I'd always wanted to give it a go.
As it was an experiment I bought a cheapy one from Amazon, which works fine, but I suspect a more expensive one would be a bit more stable and cut the #pasta a bit better when making spaghetti etc. They range from £25 - £150.
Now we came to this recipe after a bit of trial and error. Some recipes only call for 2 eggs, which didn't seem enough to me, so I always ended up putting in another!
Pasta making is not a quick task....and when you tot up the time is takes to roll out and make, it's tempting to resort to dried pasta, but it honestly tastes better.
Plus it's a great thing to do with kids if you're trying to kill some time in these #lockdown days.
The dough doesn't take long to make, and can be kept in the fridge ready to use. It can also be frozen (just wrap in a couple of layers of clingfilm. The dough can be kept in the freezer for up to a month). Just thaw thoroughly before rolling out.
